Why do we need sun protection

“Do i need to apply sunscreen?”

All of us need sunshine in our lives. When the skin is exposed to the sun, our body produces vitamin D, which helps the body absorb calcium, thereby making bones healthier. This is important for multiple processes. But excessive exposure to the sun can cause our skin to become irreversible damage.

LONG SPOTS!

In order to resist UVA and UVB, the skin will produce more melanin particles, which will cause the skin to grow spots. If there are spots, the color of the spots will become darker.

ACCELERATE AGING!

Excessive exposure to ultraviolet radiation can cause premature skin aging, and more than 90% of skin sagging is caused by long-term non-sun protection.

SKIN CANCER!

Excessive exposure to ultraviolet radiation may cause skin cancer. The two most common types of skin cancer are basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. Generally, they form on the head, face, neck, hands, and arms because these body parts are most susceptible to ultraviolet radiation. Melanoma is the most deadly type of skin cancer, most of which is caused by exposure to ultraviolet radiation.

To protect your skin from UV radiation:

The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends that everyone use a sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 15 or higher every day.The best practice is to apply it 30 minutes before going out to make the sunscreen adhere to your skin. Contact every two hours and reapply immediately after swimming or sweating too much.In addition to sunscreen, hats, clothes, and sunglasses can also protect yourself and your family.
